Gasoline on leather

I need a home recipe for removing the smell of gasoline that spilled onto my leather purse. The is no visible evidence of the gas...just the odor...???

if I was you ill put perfume in it or take it to the cleanerrs tats what I do with my leather bags

KH Builder. Mix a real strong solution of it shake it well, many times, then let it settle. Try putting a small amount in a hidden place rinse well with fresh water. Let it dry see if it works doesn't bleach it out. Don't let it set on the leather, rinse within a minute or so.
