should be looking at ps3, wii, xbox

For kids I recommend a Wii. The controller is fun and intuitive to use. The Wii is a little short on horsepower for serious gamers but for family fun it is tops.

Agreed with fillet-- Wii for kids, definitely. Not only does it have more kid game titles to choose from (less violent stuff more family-friendly), the controllers are much more fun.

Agreed with you guys but there is also educational stuff on pc. Unless your kids are hardcore gamer then you'd have to get a modified/gaming pc(computer) /buy and modify your own (which I have done) or get an x-box or PlayStation.

How about some good old-fashioned board games. Makes for good family interaction and the kids have lots of time to get into electronic games.
