People i choose to talk to have a problem with the funmail?

A lot of the people I choose to talk to have a problem with the funmail...
They can only comment on my comments and it is very annyoing
Why is that?

The only time that fun mail doesn't work is if they are under 18, and you're over 18 (have to add them as a friend first, as we protect kids).

Or if they turn fun mail *off* which they need to do themselves...they should know they turned it off, and can turn it back on.

OR, if they didn't verify their email address, they can't use fun mail. Why? Because we need to know it's a real person before we let them communicate with other members in private...eg, it could be some wacko

So...tell them to read my answer, here, and figure out which kind of problem it is, and they can fix it

I'm over 18 (and then some lol!) and I get mail from lots under 18??? is is because' we're the same gender?

 
Sooitca, generally under 18 can contact you without a problem I think but often times OVER 18 can't fun mail under 18 unless they are already approved as Friends or the under 18 person has checked the Let people add me as a friend automatically under Friend Management in Edit my profile.

Tell them they need something in the subject in order to send a funmail... that may be the problem
