I'm sure you can assume it'll be a different experience for you and it's not something anyone ever wants to deal with. If it's open caset, of course you'll get to see him. I don't know what else you want to know, if you have any other questions then you can go ahead and send me Fun Mail. I'm sorry about your loss.

The ones I've been to, people are there to show respect for the deceased, and, if you felt like it, express your sympathies to the family members. Mostly you don't have to do anything except be on your good behavior. Dress nice. Sign the guest book. If there is a viewing, know that you do not have to go up to the casket.

I'm sorry for your loss.
Take care.

That is a hard part, my aunts funeral was my first and I didn't really know what would happen, at a funeral they normally talk about the persons life, what they did in their time, how nice and cheerful they were. that kinda thing, lots of people there will be crying, by the way don't hold back the crying, I'm a guy and I didn't cry but then when I got back to school I started to blubber like a baby, its a very hard time at a funeral, all the best, hope it helped.

i didnt make this but i love it! Answered by yourangell on Jan 12, 2009, 04:55PM

are you talking abt the funeral or the wake? because the funeral is at the burial site and from experience is a little easier to deal with (emotionally) than the wake, which is where the casket might be open and people talk about them and stuff...
