Why doesn't fun advice allow us to delete questions?

You can mark it anonymous which then removes it from your account.

So, as to why?

Well, for one: if we had zero questions (theoretically) then, people wouldn't *find* our site...92% of our visitors come from search engines for the first time...given that's over 100K visitors out of our 110K+ visitors per day, that's a LOT of downside.

And, if we didn't have those visitors, we wouldn't be able to afford staff, nor servers, so the site wouldn't exist.

I've checked policies on other websites that compete with us: none of them allow user deletion of content. We *do* allow you to remove something if nobody has answered it yet.

You can edit your question up untill someone answers it.

Most advisors will edit it if they see a mistake so no biggy happy

what happens is if the advisors think it's innappropriate, they'll delete it.

I was wondering the answer to this myself but now I understand. I found this site through a google search and an old question came up which I clicked the link to come to this site and soon joined as a member happy
