Is funadvice better than myspace and facebook?

Is this site better than the other top dogs like Myspace or Facebook?

Funadvice is completely different than MySpace and Facebook. There's no comparison.

Here we ask (and answer) questions from the serious to the silly. The others are more for chit-chat, socializing.

It really is a case of comparing apples with oranges. Personally, I avoid bebo/myspace/facebook like the plague, because I find places like that to be almost like kitset webpages for narcissists. I'm just not really into the whole 'here's a whole page dedicated to all things about me'- partially why when I actually get off my butt and launch my site, it's going to have very little info about me, and is going to be more focussed on what people are interested in (I really am a pretty boring person, so I'd never make people sit through a whole page of my BS).

Not only do we have everything Myspace and Facebook has (profiles, adding friends, commenting on profiles)...we also have the whole question and answer component, that these sites don't even try to have.

Also, if you have a problem with FunAdvice, you can just click "Contact Us" and the site owner will likely respond (or myself). That would never happen on other sites.

I think they are totally different in so many different ways!!!
I love Funadvice cause the people are there to talk, listen, answer questions and what not.. The people on this site do not necessarily "know" in person the people they add as their friends for the people they talked to on here..
I think myspace is more personal..
On myspace (at least mine) I only add people I really know in person or what not.. and I don't ask personal questions or give advice..
I like funadvice cause it's so hard to talk with your family or friends about certain thing.. And on here.. Noone knows anyone.. and just cares about what's on the inside, and not what's on the outside..
