Fta changeover

I have a direct tv 625 dvr box with the satellite, how do I change it over to fta ?

You won't be able to change that box over, as it's designed soley for Direct TV.

You can however reuse the dish, and add/or replace the feed on it.

You will need a new receiver for FTA --- they're pretty cheap and have a wide range of options.

If you keep your Direct TV subscription, there might be a way to change that service over, but I'm not familiar enough to offer anything there. I do know you CAN get receive direct TV as well as Dish Network, but beyond that I'm not sure what you need to decode them...presuming you even have that interest.
