Is this hairstyle possible for me?

I am going to get a haircut saturday, but I have no idea what to do, I kinda like the so called "emo" haircuts... I like the one in the picture but, I have dark brown hair, and I am NOT going to dye it black, I just want a new cut and some streaks or something, and also I WANT this style, but long. Is that possible, and do you like it?

definately possible... when I get my hair cute and find a short cut I like I ask him if they can make the layers longer and they end up doing it right

what do you like better out of the two, or would recommend? I have had long, and very annoying hair forever it seems! And I want it to still be long, but not the same old style. I want something new, and I am also starting to lose weight, it's part of my "makeover." Lol... the thing is, I want side swept bangs.

I dont think those hair cuts would suit you.. but if I had 2 choose 1 id go for the 2nd.

hey, you have nice hair. But it's your hair and if you like it and the barber doesn't screw it up, then by all means go for what you like.

The second one is heaps better. I think the first one would make you look like a leso. (when I say "you" I don't mean spacifically you, I mean you, meaning everyone.)
