This is a great recipe for sorbet! You have to thaw the fruit if you use frozen opposed to fresh fruit, but it all works out the same! Also, you can place the fruit inside the sorbet instead of just around the edges if you like. Its delicious and easy! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
4 cups fresh/frozen fruit
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup fresh orange juice

1 pinch salt
mint or fresh fruit -- for garnish
Fresh/Frozen fruit:
4 cups of sliced strawberries or berries
Directions:
Instructions:
Spread sliced fruit in one dessert style cup and spritz with lemon juice to prevent browning. Place in refrigerator, until chilled.
Combine juices and sugar (amount of sugar will depend on the sweetness you desire) and salt and stir until sugar is dissolved
Place mixture in plastic bowlcontainer in the freezer. After about an hour, the edges get icy and the mixture must be re-processed until frozen throughout
Once mixture is completely frozen, scoop on top of fresh fruit and garnish with fresh mint sprig

Any good frozen berry recipes?
I have some frozen berries in the freezer and need a way to use them! All of the recipes that I've found all call for Cool Whip...and I don't have any. I also don't have marshmallows or bananas, but I do have pineapple... So if anyone has any good...
recipes for stuff to do with frozen berries and would be willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it! (I have frozen strawberries, frozen red raspberries, and a frozen berry mix with blueberries, blackberries, and red raspberries.)
