Mandy: will you come to argentina?
Hey Mandy!
I'm Pia from Argentina, I’m 19 years old and I’m a BIG fan of yours.
I really love your music (my dad went to the states on a business trip last month and bought me Wild Hope...I’m obsessed with it!! I have it in the car playing all day...
long), and I love your movies...Because I said so and License to Wed are in theatres now...and today i watched like for the 5th time Chasing Liberty...very funny!
But above all, I really like you as a person...you inspire me.
I'm now in this particular moment of my life, you know, passing from adolescence into becoming a women...and so I’m asking myself who I am, who i want to be, what i like...i was sort perplex with all this bunch of things..not sure who to deal with them...i do a lot of writing but at some point, it was as if it the words weren't enough...like as if i was not using the right ones.
So one day, not so long ago, i came across an article about you...it was a very short interview but it described perfectly the way y felt. So it was kind of Ah, this is how i feel! This are the words i was needing to express my emotions...it was so reassuring...
I think you're a great role model for young women, a very sweet person, and most important: you have a GOOD soul, and we know we're short of that ones now a days.
I'm a dancer, and I do a little of singing because i do musical theatre, and i did lot of theatre when i was young...i love music and so i take percussion lessons, now i'm starting piano lessons too.
I work in two Musical Theatre Studios, giving dance classes...and i looove what i do because i do it with the heart...no matter i'm not the N.1 dancer in Argentina.
So i want to congrat you because your art is awesome, and it's great to see you so passionate about it...note: i looove candy too!!
So, i could write to you pages and pages but resuming all, i think you are a GREAT GREAT person, i love the way you speak, the things you say, and your art...and of course, here in Argentina we call you a DIOSA (it's a Spanish word we use to say a girl is like really really REALLY beautiful)
To end with...i want to ask you to consider making an INTERNATIONAL tour in the future...
I travel to USA now and then on holidays (i will be all January to NY to take dance lessons with a friend of mine) so i hope you'll still be making concerts there...my dream is to see you some day live.
I really envy that all the contests that are always at myspace/mandymoore are for people living in the states...hahaha-
Hope you read this...send you my BEST BEST wishes for you're life...you'll reach high, you deserve it.
Pia Gonzalez Silveyra, from Argentina.
