Can't find people to be friends

im having the worst time finding people to add as my friends. Why does it say that I cant send them a question. Who can I talk to!!!l.o.l Vey frustrating

well in da beginin it aint let you send much mail 2 people and 2 add friends just go on dey page and add em people alwaz add me so just go 2 dey page and add em, but watch out because sum people iz qick 2 hate, and you can talk 2 me if you want

Some people have selected the option that makes them have to approve your request to be their friend, and therefore you can't Fun Mail them until they have become your friend. Just click on the 'Add me as a friend' link on their Profile, Question or Answer. If it shows that you are now their friend, you can then Fun Mail them.

You can't add people as friends that are under 18 without approval, unless they change their profile settings, they get an email & have to then accept the request, etc. Over 18 members don' have that set by default.

Also, if you want to search for people near you, use the members search (upper right hand corner...)

Last, you can also use the site search for stuff like 'dancing' and then click the 'related interests' link for dancing, to see questions about dancing, and members who have that listed as one of their interests. So, we do try to make it easy to find other people on the site, you just have to explore a little.
