Friend issue?

Okay Well I have this friend right? well not 2 be mean or anything but im pretty much the only friend she has. well I like to hang out with her but she can be SOOO annoying at times. Well shes poor im not well 2days issue was about my cell phone...

heres what happend.

Well I was at er house waiting for my dad to pick me up well my phone starts ringing I check it was a text. she says wow you really are obessed with material things
Im like what the f*ck?!?! ITS A TEXT! how is that material? Okay well anyways
I have a sidekick 2008 so I have unlimited everything so I was on the internet shes always trying to find ways to put down my phone so she said something about the shell it had im like well hey I love my phone so do other people. She says WHATEVER.So at this point she was really annoying me plus she was just sitting their like an idiot she didnt even offer to do something fun well I kept getting text she says ugh shut that thing up be4 I do it for you Im Like OHHELLNO!
So I told her well at least I have people to text
(she has a crappy lg phone im the only person she texts)
She says ok well heres a question Okay would you care more about your phone if say nooone exsisted you didnt know anyone?

I say well dats a stupid question IT DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENSE!
So she says your just to concieted shes like you dont care about anyone but urself your phone.

I say sweetie I do care about people because other wise I wouldnt text people back ask them about their day

So at that point my dad gets there I leave she acts like nothing ever happend.

I think shes just jealous that I have the whole school texting me but nooone wants 2 text her I mean im nice to everyone lately shes been trying to act WAY TO MUCH LIKE ME! Like seriously its annoying now the whole school thinks shes a b!tch.

Shes more of a treehugger I dont care about material things type of person when infact she wishes she had what I had a lot of people have said so.

So whats her deal? Jealousy? Or is it something else?

yup, jealousy, but you r her friend so why don't you just try to be nice to her?

Can be jealousy, But if always She try to act like you..is that She even doesn't have Her own personality and wants to imitate you. Is true that people are materialistic a lot..but in this case you were only answering a text message...She really has some issues. But if you are Her friend try to ask Her or talk with Her what annoys Her. Or what is her problem. Maybe it will help.

I have a friend like this, except in my case I am the one with less money. My friend was sooo annoying, she bugged my about everything shed follow me around and id do whatever she wanted because I felt kinda bad. (she had a sidekick)but in her own way, she was pretty cool and very nice. she definetly wasnt the prettiest girl and she was very 'whatever' about a lot of things. and even tho she could be very pushy and rude and annoying she didnt realize she was doin it so I kind of just adapted to it and pushed it aside. now im in the high school and shes still in middle school and she has found a group of friends that she gets along with a lot better. and I think you owe it to her to put up with her.

also maybe you should make a list of things you 2 can do together so that you arent just wasting time

and when it comes down to it, instead of texting like everyone you should get out and hang out with them. because this is the real world, even if your popular on 'texting' it is a lot more fun to be popular in the real world. youll make so many friends and lots of memories so my advice to you is get out there.

I'm not poor and I get annoyed when my friends text other people when we are hanging out too. Limit use of cellphone to emergencies and such. And try to be civil to her. Okay? You'll get a lot back.
