Sounds like there is a virus or nasty somewhere...either trojan or malware. I would run a free anti-virus program such as Avast. If your report is clean and there are no viruses, check for corrupt files in the windows folder.
try this to do a system file checker/repair:
go to start/run
in the box, enter SFC /SCANNOW
you will need to have your windows cd ready, because it will ask for it and repair corrupted system files, if it doesn't match the original files on the cd.

I have downloaded free gate on my pc ( windows viesta) and then I removed it but my internet explorer in not opening any more, why?
