Fort lauderdale, fl for vacation

has anyone visited Fort Lauderdale, FL for vacation?

I live here and its beautiful . Nice weather and beaches. Right now it's december 17 and it is 80 degrees and sunny! HEre is a webcam shot!

From what I ve heard of it...nice sunny weather all year round, not scorching hot, not cold either, but pretty expensive real estate, so im guessing you should be quite well off to be able to stay there

Florida beaches are gorgeous. We go there every summer, although we usually go to Destin and not Fourt Lauderdale.

This time of year will be a litle bit chilly though. You have to remember that the breeze next to the ocean is usually pretty cold and during the winter the water is cold also.

In Florida? I live near where that webcam is, I think. I seem to recognize it a little. It's never cold here, not even the wind lol. Maybe for a week a year, but there isn't even a winter here...the water is always warm.

Hmm, guess I went during the wrong week then. We went one time and we were so cold and the water was too cold to get in.

It's been a cold winter this year (ok ok, I know it wasnt really that cold, but it was in the 50s at one point!) I like Ft Lauderdale beaches compared to miami beaches, nicer atmosphere...
