What is your view on gay marriage?

What is your view on gay marriage?

I need this for a class, and the paper is due in two weeks. I'm not looking to start any arguments on here, but that seems to be all that I did in my school with my friends, so please just answer honestly about it.

I think that anyone who loves each other should be able to get married.

Too many straight people get married and they don't even love each other. I think that's more lawless than gay marriage. I'd rather have two women marry and be in love than a man and women who aren't in love and have abuse, etc.

Okay here is my opinion

Marrage is under God. It's telling God that you love this person and want to spend your mortal life with them. So I believe at anyone can get married as long as they believe in God. To tell you the truth though I've never met a gay/les who believed in God. Also I don't exactly like the idea of same sex marrage because it's not natural in my opinition because I'm straight. I have lots of friends who are different from me and I'll support them in their decision, I just don't want to see it.

they can have a civil wedding I guess.. I dont have anythingn against same sex marraige.. I dont think the church will approve it.. but yeah.. what's important is they love each other and they're committed to spend life together.

Ok, you are born homosexual or heterosexual. So, let's say that you grow up, and at the age of...15, you decide that you find the same sex attractive. Then, let's say you tell your parents and they say that you are completely wrong and immoral. So, at the age of 16 you give up and decide to just tell everyone that you were going through a 'phase' and that you've recently realized that you're straight. So, now you're going to go through your entire life living a lie.

Well, last time I checked, lying is a sin, so explain that one to me.

That's my whole theory on it, I've really been looking into this whole thing for the project (since we have to take excerpts out of the bible) and so far, I've got some weird beliefs about how wrong my religion is.
