Will my dog get the flu from me?

I have the flu ! I was eating some cheese ,it accidently slipped out of my mouth and my little dauchshund ate it !Will she get the flu?

It's highly unlikely that your dog will get sick from it. It's not completely impossible, but I think your little doggy will be alright.

I doubt your dog will actually get flu. I mean, it's not very easy to catch. Anyway, dogs are used to eating weird stuff like that...

Nope, she won't get it. The flu is not Zoonotic, which means passing from animal to human or vice versa.

You can catch and transmit parasites like worms and also certain types of manges from dog to human or human to dog, but not the flu.

NO...there are very few diseases that are inter-species contagious...Scaroptic Mange, Hoof and mouth, ringworm, Anthrax...but not flu
