I just wanted to add, make sure you give your muscles time to rest! If you want to work out everyday switch between upper body one day and lower the next. Creatine shakes right after a work out are good for you (and yummy!). You can find it at GNC.
And you'll want to eat healthy, after all what good is toning up your muscles if it's hidden under fat?
Try a subscription to Men's Health (you can pick up a copy in most places)
and also check out the Home Workout Bible http://www.amazon.co...
If you work hard, you can see dramatic results in less than six weeks. Though it depends on your level of physical fitness already & how much muscle definition you are going for. Given a 3+ day per week routine of an hour and a half at a time you should be able to get a lot of definition between one and two months, max. Good luck & happy weight lifting.

how long would you say it would take to tone muscles up e.g. deltoids, pectorials, biceps triceps, just by doing weight lifting everyday...I've toned up my abdominal cruches to a nearly six pack in a month but I left out my uper body...what do you think?
