Does jumproping have better effects on your body than running?

Actually it does have better affects on your body depending on how you jump. If you just jump up from your feet, then it's not going to have too much more of an effect than what can be gotten out of it. However if you bring your legs up closer to your torso with each jump then you'll get a full body workout.

Jumping rope also can be safer than running depending on where you choose to run. Unfortunately I have no room in my room so I can't do either.(It's pushups situps and just regular jumping for me. V.V)
