Are first kisses really as awkward as I've heard some people say they are?

They are only as awkward as people make them... Mine wasn't.

I surprised the girl so it wasn't really awkward, just surprising.

I am supposed to be having my first kiss on friday. So I really appreciate the advice.
I am super worried. I think I will try to relax about it though. Everyone has to have a first kiss so everyone goes through it... ughhh still a little nervous...lol

Well ya see im not quite for sure if it's going to happen.
Everytime I talk to him... which is EVERY night... he finds some way to mention the word kissing... then last night he wasn't so subtle about it.
I know for sure I want to kiss him and I haven't kissed anyone else I've dated because they werent the right one. I truly believe I want him to be the first person I kiss. I just don't want to screw it up and have him be like well that was the worst kiss ever.

first kisses arent awkward, if both of you really want it, it will be natural to be nervous, you may getting all shaky and stuff but if the guy/girl you are kissing wants it as much as you, they will overlook your nervousness, enjoy it!! you cant have a 2nd first kiss so savour every second and make it something to remember!! good luck!!

so here's the scoop on the life of me.
I got kissed the other day. I wasn't nervous because I wanted to kiss him. However... I was probably the worst kisser EVER... but hey... that was my first kiss ... so hopefully he cut me some slack. However I did survive. lol
