First glass bowl

Since I've never owned a glass bowl before, the others being just metal pipes, I've never had this problem happen before - inside the actual bowl part of my glass piece (where you pack the weed), there's a hole at the bottom where ash escapes.

The issue...

is whenever someone takes a hit out of it, they can usually get ash with it too. I was told that the hole is suppose to be covered with resin - I just can't build enough of it up to fix the hole. And it's a glass piece with a carb - it isn't a bubbler.

Any ideas on what I should do? Has this happened to anyone else? Not really sure what to do.

go to a headshop and get a glass screen. its like two bucks for ten of them. you stick one down in the bottom of the bowl and it should keep your pipe from sh*ting on you.

You have to smoke a lot to get enough tar to cover the hole

how much is a lot about?

Use a screen.

Either deal with the ash for awhile or put a screen in it for a lil so it catches and then with the resin build up then you can pick the screen out and scrape some resin into the bottom
