First date/need some girl advice

Ok...so I'm 17 years old. I'm taking a 15 year old girl to the movies..but yea, is that a good place to go? Would you as a girl like being taken to the movies?

Especially this weekend when I know little about any of the movies. Saw V/Pride and Glory...

are the only ones I know about.

Also, I dunno whether to call this a date or not. It was a more of a hey, want to go to the movies? ok going to bring any friends? nope I met this girl in school and barely talk to her, but I try to when I see an opening.

Advice please lol. I'm really hoping I can stay with this girl for a while, I really like her.

Ok, but where would you want to be taken? Imagine there are no beaches, no nearby amusement parks..nothing really. And it's cold outside.

Yeah I think that's a good place... you should take things slow it being the first time you guys are going out and all...she probably doesn't know if it's a date or not either...just don't be nervous and have fun!!

Too me the movies is a good place to go with your girlfriend but if you don't really know your girl too good yet the best thing you can do is go somewhere you two can just talk and get to know each other. A dinner date would be nice but some people are nervous eating in front of people they like and they tend not to communicate. I think the park or somewhere like that would be a good choice.

the movies are fun, but you dont really get to speak or know eachother. it might be awkward...
1) do you get popcorn?
2) do you get popcorn and SHARE it?
3) do you try put your arm around her
4) what if she gets a fright when you do?
5) when its over is the date over? only to realize you havent said two words to one another?

I think the movies isnt the best choice for a first date.
but hey, thats just me! good luck anyways xxx

why not go to a INDOOR ice-skating rink? or a games room or ten pin bowling? something fun that you can laugh at being silly and just be yourselves... and SPEAK.

lol, never heard of an indoor let alone an outdoor ice skating rink here in lexington. but bowling sounds pretty good
