Another month and go to it. I had my dog spayed between 6 and 8 months. It was traumatic but she recovered quickly and there is barely even a scar.
Ditto to funguy...if she's a small breed lean towards the 6 month time...you can go a little longer with large breeds, as they don't come into season as early...as their smaller counterparts.

I'd check with your vet but suspect that anytime soon would be fine. You really want to catch her before she has her first season as the risks of mammary tumours and other associated cancers is vastly reduced.
As with all surgery, there are risks but I think any vet would agree the health benefits of spaying far outweigh the possible surgical/anaesthetic risks involved.
My border collie, Sam, was spayed around 6 months-ish and she made a very quick recovery. I wouldn't worry too much, you're doing what's best for your dog.
Good luck

I got my sasha spayed at 5 months so the sooner the better but not to early so yeah I say right now is a good time to get her spayed specially if shes a litlle dog!
Do NOT let your dog go into "season" before spaying her. She could get pregnant. Have her done right away. They are spaying kittens now and finding that sooner is better than later. No longer are vets waiting until six months.
IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION ...DO IT NOW!!
