Fast web browser?

Google Chrome is going really slow. Does anyone have any fast web browsers they want to recommend?

Try clearing out your cache (Click on the wrench in the far right hand side, go to Clear browsing data... and make sure everything is checked and its set to clear since 'Everything.' then run it) and also, go download CCleaner, ( http://www.ccleaner.com/ ) and run that, then clear out your registry using the same tool as well. On top of this, defragment your harddrive ( Start - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Defragmenter ).

All of the above should make your browsing significantly faster. If this doesn't work, you can try downloading Opera, which is just as fast as Chrome.

Also too, you could have less tabs open.

depending on your computer spec and keeping a web browser crap free will result in fast preformance, I would stick to the latest Internet explorer as its the safest out there but I installed ontop of it ie7pro 2.4.7 works fully with internet explorer 8 and I have it the way I want it, beats firefox hands down :D.

Go with Firefox or chrome, clear cache/cookies and your set, but speed has nothing to do with the browser. Internet connection is the only speed variable in this.

I agree, I explorer is wicked dangerous, its a virus magnet, if you want a fast browser clean your computer with cccleaner and get firefox, firefox also has a cool download helper, so you can download videos of of youtube and such. =) hope this helps

It kind of depends on your OS, but I would recommend Opera 10 (it's pretty fast and I'm running karmic koala) or the latest Firefox which was pretty fast when I had Windows XP.
