im 17 and my dad and them neglect me they treat me like crap and they do drugs I dont feel safe what can I do to live with my friends

what state are you in? a lot of states have the law that at the age of 17, you can move out of without them being able to do anything about it. I know it happened to me. I moved out at 17 and my mother called the cops. they told her there was nothing they could do.
