Everyone in my band writes songs, i can't is it writer's block

Okay, so everyone in my band writes songs and ideas for songs, but I think I have writer's block. I used to have quite a few songs saved on my computer, but they're all accidentally deleted now so I need help thinking of lyrics cause I can't think of...

a single thing!!! anything but degrading stuff will do, just some ideas please.

I write poetry which is basically songs without music. Depending on what you what to do a song about, I could probably give you some ideas. One of the things I love to do is write poetry and translate it to Japanese (Im a total freak, I know) But my friends always tell me theyre good so I'll try and answer. Get some good music to listen to. (something you can understand ; ) and make sure it fits the mood of whatever type of band you are. Rock metal that type of thing. Just sit and listen until something they say, or the rythm of the music draws a sort of calm and thoughtfulness to you. write down what comes to your mind. Oooh and it helps if you have a demo of the song you're doing (the beat or rythm) so you can put the words together with the music.

Same thing happened to me 1 year ago.I wasn't able to write but after that I tried and I end up with some nice poems that I intend to make them lyrics for my future invisible band.:P
So I don;t know..try to read something that gives you the right mood to have inspiration.
