Why do boys go for fakes?

Why is it boys say they don't go for the fakes (you know the slags wearing TONS of foundation,eyeliner,fake tan,concealer,mascara,lippy etc) and then half the male population Has a fake girlfriend... Hopefully a boy should answer this

I would also like to know the answer to this from a couple guys' perspectives.

Most girls don't like fake guys; why do most guys like completely fake and naturally hideous girls?

I think this all the time.
When ever me and my guy friends are on the internet together and he spots a girl he likes the look of in facebook or summet...its always a fake girl.
Guys used to try and hide the fact the enjoyed the fake look by saying you look beautiful without your makeup... Blah balh BLAH!
But now, the fake look has become a lot more popular amongst the girls.
Maybe its because they think theses girls are easier than someone who isnt fake.
Or maybe us none fake girls dont see what they see in these fake girls.
But when you try to talk to a guy about why he likes a fake girl, he will just comment shes fit And never gives a real reason.
Despite them being orange and wearing so much makeup they cant even open their eyes
We will never know the real answer.
We will just have to understand that fake is now in.
