Facebook accounts and privacy

best friends Asked by voice5w33t 3 months ago, 1 answer.

If a person has previously given you their password and e-mail address to access their facebook account, would it be in breech of any uk privacy laws or illegal at all to continue to log into their account and view information without changing anything?

technically though they have obviously forgotten they gave me the information and are not aware of anyone viewing their account so if it came out could they claim breech of privacy or anything?
