What colors should I use for my brown eyes?

I like to wear eye shadow and lip gloss that's it. But at times I struggle in what colors to combine in order to make my eyes look beautiful. Can someone please help me and give me some tips on what colors I can combine or what colors would look right on me to bring out my eyes ? I have brown eyes, I have black hair and im sort of light skin. Thanks a bunch

for brown eyes-use blueish eyeshadow!!
add in some browns to make it natural
also try to make the 'smoky' look,
I love that look, and try eyeliner to bring them out more!!

Since you are not use to wearing tons of make up, not sure if blues would be best for you. I am sure blues would look great but not sure if that would be too much color. Eyeliner is a girls best friend! I love it. I always like tints of brown, and I agree try the smoky look!! good luck!

dont use blue eyeshadow, use purple instead
it brings out your brown eyes and makes them beautiful!
also put on loads of mascara
