Extra heavy music?

hat Asked by jewcy 3 months ago, 20 answers.

I'm looking some really, really heavy music. I'm listening to bands like converge and slipknot and the moment but after a while of listening to a band the effect lessens. I was wondering what some of the heaviest most insane loud intense bands were. things like heavy metal, hardcore, noisecore and things like that. can anyone help me out?

have you thought about taking a blast into the past and listen to the original old heavy music?

Linkin Park are not too bad, although they aren't that 'heavy'. I don't like Limp Bizkit or Evenesence. I hear Korn are similar to Slipknot so maybe I'll give them a listen. I'll listen to this Tirivum as well.

EDIT: Thanks rita.

Cradle of Filth
Slipknot
Marilyn Manson
Escape the Fate (in some of their songs they get hardcore...but sounds emoish too though)
HIM (Their songs are not the most hardcore either, but they are great!)
Korn ( A band I never really cared for, but I guess you could give them a listen)

'all that remains
lamb of god

Definitely not ALL that remains. What, do you think there are only 30 hardcore bands in existence or something?

try maybe bury your dead or parkway drive. the agony scen is good, as I lay dying, hatebreed, killswitch engage, norma jean, and unearth are good too. as well if you like singing try a day to remember or protest the hero.

I say that Mastadon or something like that is pretty heavy, but slipknot is more of speed/heavy, then just heavy
and devourment or devourer or something with devourer is REALLY heavy, the song babykiller is heavy as hell!!!

Those are some good bands

If youre really looking for something heavy, try listening to Sucide Silence. I just got into them not to long ago, but man they're pretty brutal. Its a death core band so it might be hard to pick up on the lyrics but after listening to them for a while the songs will make sense. If you like listening to songs that p*ss you off about society, this is the band for you. Go on youtube and type up 'the price of beauty,' this video is tight.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
