Type 1 is worse than type 2.
Type 1 is where your body is insulin deficient so you MUST take insulin shots a couple of times everyday. I believe it is known as Juvenile Diabetes and usually starts in childhood.
Type 2 is where either your body doesn't produce enough insulin and/or where your body's cells aren't able to use it efficiently. Type 2 usually starts later in life and can be caused by obesity and/or bad eating habits. It can usually be controlled by diet, exercise and pills.
I believe that both types can lead to serious health problems, amputations and death if not seriously dealt with and controlled.
Simply a Rose to brighten your day,
And maybe lessen the cares in your way;
And also, too, to help you to know,
That in knowing you, many others grow!
