Everybody is dying due to this flu?

well I heard the mexican news and they are saying that this kinda flu is spreading everywhere and its almost here in the USA.its a flu that if you dont get attented within 24 hours you die.it was the common symptoms of a common flu: sore...

throat,headache,coughing,stuffed nose.who else has heard about this? im worried about this mysterious flu epidemia..

The death rate is high for this flu, but it is not *that* high. There are ~1500 known cases of it, which means there are probably 10x that many unknown cases. 60 people have died. That means the death rate is probably about 1 in 200.

this flu is like the regular flu, the only difference is that their is not shot to prevent it. And its has been mild in the US.
If you are scare to get the swine flu you should that precautions:
cover up coughs and sneezes
wash hands often
avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
avoid contact with sick people.

It's not killing everybody. 20 cases are confirmed in the US and somewhere around 80 are in mexico. some people died, most just got flu symptoms. I figure the talk people do over this, the avian flu, and anthrax is because everyone's so freaking bored that when a new case of the sniffles comes up everybody acts like it's the Bubonic Plague, a Resident Evil brand conspiracy of the government, or the final Judgement of god or whatever. Then we're reminded to wash our hands and life goes on.

I have a cold right now and my friend started saying oh andy now you've got the swine flu! , its no laughing matter. its in mexico and possibly in the USA and its in scotland! eep! get away! don't worry about it.
