Ever dealt with your children having night terrors

Has anyone ever dealt with their children having night terrors? Or have you experienced them yourself?

Yes I had two children that would get these. It would scare me to death. One of them would run through the house screaming and and be sound to sleep.

I learned that it is from their brains going to realm sleep to fast. Or is it rim sleep. Anyway it is going from your first stage of sleep to the last stage too fast.

My children that did this are now adults and have out grown it.

When I could get them back to bed and would keep saying 'Everything is alright' they would settle down. They never remembered the next day they had them. They still don't remember when I mention it to them.

I don't remember exactly what they were about but I remember experiencing them. I probably had them when I was around 9 or 10.

Yeah my aunts children have night terrors. When I stayed over at her house I woke up hearing them screaming running around in circles in their rooms when they were actually sleeping. It was really scary. I think definitly parents should find a solution for this. You can rub their back, rock them to sleep, or anything.
