Ever been in love with someone you cant be in love with?

Like I said, has that ever happened to you? I dont think I necessarily need to be that specific, it can mean anything. such as being totally in love with someone that is out of your league is too old, too young, is much more popular then you at school...

so would never date you, you arent and I quote, good enough in any way.

Im in love with someone I cant be with because a relationship would be hard for us at my school because he is a senior and I am a freshman, At my school, depending on who you both are, people would eat you alive if you were dating in that situation, because, well, there are some people that are against those kinds of relationships, even though the difference is only three years, which really isnt that much, and I am not exaggerating when I say that I am mature for my age. I could handle it.

So please, give me some advice, and if you also have a story of your own, please tell me about that too.

Although, relationships are not easy and sometimes you have to fight for what you want and who you want to be with. You shouldn't just give up because you think people will give you a hard time - so what if they do. If the relationship was mean to be - you can ignore the adversity and grow as a couple because of it.

Let's start off with the old saying, Age is just a number. That stands true with the situation that you are in. If you guys want to be together, then there should be enough love there to stand though all of the commenting people will do. You shouldn't let people in your life make decisions for you. That's what you are doing because it shouldn't matter what the kids at school say. When I was 16, there was this guy at school that I wanted to be with so bad. As in your case, he was older then me by 1 year. I started talking to him and we became a couple and fought through all the criticism because he was black and I am white. In the end, I ended up having twin boys with him. I thought that he was going to be there for me. Well, he moved on and had 2 more kids with my grade school best friend and totally forgot about me. Just be careful if you choose to be with him. He might want you for reasons that you don't know about. Good Luck!

I'm kind of in a situation like that. I think I'm close to being in love with my best friend. We both liked each other at one point and didn't tell each other until we got so close that she didn't like me like that anymore. To me she is the girl of my dreams but I don't think I will ever get the chance to b with her. It sucks really bad.

Weird, I'm actually in a really similar situation right now.
When I was a freshman, I started dating a junior, and now I'm a junior and he's a freshman in college.
It is difficult, because it was hard for me having him graduate, but we make it work.
The age difference between us is 2 and 1/2 years, and I am also pretty mature for my age, so hey! I guess I'm living proof that it can work! =]
I'm not really sure exactly what your situation is- whether or not he likes you back and whatnot, but if he does, just try it and see what happens. If things don't work out, well at least you put yourself out there, right? And yeah, people won't like that you're dating, but its really none of their business. It won't be easy, but if you really love him, its worth it. =]

Dont worry about what people think, as age is just a number.
But I say if you really love this guy.
Go for it
but... Do you know if he likes you back?
Or is it like one of the those situations, Where you would say I wish he would notice me when I walk by.
I don't even think he know's I exist?
Try talking to him if you havent already.
