Steph is right about discussing this with your doctor, for your piece of mind, if nothing else.
However, this type of forgetful freezing is not uncommon with epilepsy. It is called an absence seizure, and also referred to as a 'petit mal' seizures (from the French for little illness). So don't worry, but definitely let your doctor know.
