Is 16 an ok age to get engaged? I'm 16 and my boyfriend is 16 and he just proposed to me and I said yes. Is 16 too young?

Whats the hurry? Do yourselves a favor, finish college and secure your futures and see how you feel, as life has a way of changing even the best laid plans.
What shows your love and commitment to each other is how you treat one another. Realize that you are a young person and have so much living to do. You have your studies and so many other things ahead of you! Marriage is just another thing that will come along when the time is right.

yeah being engaged just shows your commited to the person you love. and even though you're still young you can have a long engagement so anything could happen during the time your engaged just dont rush in to marrage too fast happy enjoy life you're only young once happy maybe try moving in with him first when you are financially stable and everything to see if it would be a good idea getting married? happy xxx
