Engaged when your 16

What do you think of people being engaged when their 16??
And... Having a le' wedding when their 21.

I think it's way too young to be engaged. I mean, think about how many people get divorced. Being 16, relationships come and go. Have fun dating, and if a relationship gets serious.. then great. But marraige is a really big commitment and decision that needs more consideration than you could give it by just being sixteen.

I think its dumb.
Generally people shouldn't get engaged unless they are ready to plan for a wedding, which you clearly aren't at 16-years-old.

I think its pathetic, but by the look of your profile you are already engaged so why do you ask?

Is there a point to being engaged for 5 years? Whats wrong with just being boyfriend/girlfriend? In life we are constantly changing, and you will NOT be the same person with the same feelings 5 years from now. Chances are, you may not even be with this person. Why dont you just take one day at a time, and concentrate on highschool, college, then getting your career before making an adult decision.
