yup Asked by systembreakr about 1 year ago, 15 answers.

So the world ends in 2012 supposedly. but what if it doesnt? what will the people, who thought it would happen, do?

hmm well considering that plenty of people have been predicting the end of the world for hundreds of years and its never happened... I guess they'll do what the rest of them did, feel mildly idiotic and continue with their lives?

They'll quickly forget how stupid they were and start wringing their hands about 2018 or some earlier date.

It's best just to sit back with a bag 'ol bag of popcorn, and enjoy watching the never ending end times comedy unfold. Plus, if you can figure out how to profit from their gullibility...all the better.

I think Jack Van Impe said it. But nobody knows so it could happen at anytime. Scary!

The 2012 date comes from the fact that that's the year the Mayan calendar ends. (Dec 21, 2012 to be exact) It has nothing to do with the Bible. There's no reference in the Bible to when the 2nd coming will be. If Jack Van Impe said it, he's just trying to get people to send money.

well, the mayans and the aztecs believed this and they based their knowledge on statistics. They said it would ened because of the future people would consume the earth. As in, they would use up all of its resources and use all of its energy, most of what we're doing right now.

but there have been so many links to the bible and mayans and other religion. and the bible tells us the things that happen before judgement day, and almost all of it is happening right now

I think that that's a big load of nothing. Honestly, I think the Aztecs got sick of putting in days and decided. Well, why don't I just end on __?

I think some of them will laugh at themselves, others kick themselves. etc.

And remember... there's still that 3%...

The only thing that happens in 2012 is the Myan Calender turns over. not ends. like a millinum for us.
No where in the bible dose it say when the world ends and the bible is historicly inaccuret anyway. Even if you believe the bible crap it says no one will know.

people have been predicting the end of the world since before the time of christ.
after 2012 people will be predicting the world will end in 2150 when we go into the age of aquarious, (wich is what christanity really see the end of days is different from the end of the world)

No there is no indication of the world ending in 2012. the Myans didn't predict it either.
But hey if im wrong whats it matter?lol

do what theyve always done, sit down and predict it again just so theyll look like idiots again. it may happen but theres a huge possiblity it wont, the world was supposed to end in 2000 and everybody was going on bout it and really talking it up, and everybody (well almost) really believed it, NO man knows when it will end ONLY God does, Christ himself dont even know ONLY God does. it will happen when God's ready, regardless of what scientist and whoever else says or tries to perdict, it may be over for the Mayans, but that doens mean it is for the rest of the world. our calendar ends every year, but it doesn mean the world is ending, we go to wally world and buy a new one. im not trying to be rude, my point is ONLY God knows and it will happen when he is ready. so everybody chill and live ya life happy

I choose to live my life in such a way, that if I somehow meet my maker tommorrow, or in the next few minutes, I will be ready. and that is the only thing that makes sense, if you believe the bible, and the spirit of Christ living within.
