Just wanted to let you know that as far as your advice for convicted felons and employment in FL, the govt. does nothing to help those in Lakeland, FL. They give you an outdated list from 10years ago or more, and most of the companies may have hired 1...
felon in the last 20 years. The same list is given to convicts when they are released from prison, but, again saying go to the govt. in FL is usually a complete waste of time!! About the only company that MIGHT hire you on the list is Publix. Also, in FL they are extremely strict on what type of licenses a convict can have, and if it is any type that is issued from the state of FL (like a contractors, beer, medical fields, etc.) you cannot obtain it!! Florida has the most restricted set of occupations for convicts in the US!! So your answers to questions regarding employment for convicts in Florida might need to be revised. You might want to check it out!!!
