Emo friends?

Im slowly turning emo from a prep. I dont know how to find emo people my age to hang out with?? I have friends that are preps and im not going to just stop being their friend, because I've known them for years. But I want to have emo friends so im...

with people more like me. So I just want to know how to find emo kids around where I live??

-_- What's with all the prep, emo, ghetto, punk nonsense? I'm so sick of it. Just hang out with whoever is already your friends. If you're truly met to find more emo friends they'll come. Whether you change or not does not choose what kind of friends you should hang out with. Because anyone can hang out with anyone. There is nothing special about cliques. Don't label then stick around with your other labelled buddies by putting yourself in a classification. Be yourself. Hang out with whoever becomes a friend. Does it really matter if they're emo or not? I'd hope not.

don't go emo on us! the last thing the world needs is another debbie-downer. you live in ventura, what could you possibly have to be depressed about?! the weather's great, the ocean's right around the corner, you're only an hour away from whatever you want to do in southern california...the list goes on and on. most kids would kill to be in your spot, and you're going to be a negative nancy about it. shame on you.

Well, I'm also emo and I feel your pain about finding others who share the same feelings...I never had any original friends so I'm pretty sure you shouldn't abandon your original friends...but if you truly are turning emo the people who are also emo will naturally come to you. Believe me. like a magnet

Um, wow.
Well, please, try and stay away from the other emos. All my friends were emo last school year and well, one tried to commit suicide and he's not coming back, so there's one friend gone. My other friend was emo and she got held back. Another friend gone. My BBF was emo also and now she's homeschooled, same as 3 of my other friends. So, all I have is.. 1 non emo friend. And I was never emo to begin with. So, if you want emo friends, don't be suprised when you're all alone. The preps are the good people to hang out with really.
They're all perfect and such sluts.
My friends said that about them and it's not true. They just talk bad about people, but they won't ignore you. Some glare at you, but then their best friend, is totally nice. So, I don't want anyone getting hurt.. So, if you won't get hurt, like me, when all your friends disappear, then go for the emo kids, but otherwise stay with your current friends. ^^ Please.
