Emi is giving up unrestricted songs.

Asked by jumpinjesi about 1 year ago, 1 answer.

EMI is giving up unrestricted songs. The other labels in the industry have been using DRM (digital rights management) to protect their cd's and discourage pirates. Are people that sick of music companies that are trying to protect their music from pirates?

I use itunes, I'm not sure if they have the DRM in place or not, but their feature set is incredible, and very convenient. We have a few ipods in the house, and I've never had trouble transfering the music from one the other, so I don't get why this is a big deal...?
