I'm not fussed. I have my Gmail up as a tab and FunAdvice on another tab on my browser, so I can easily see if I get new emails just by looking at the tab, so I click on the tab and check the email.
If you do make this happen, and not make it an option, it'll be great if it's self-refreshing like Gmail, so I don't have to manually refresh the FunMail inbox just to see if any new emails are in.
I also prefer Gmail because I can search for a certain email, even if it's in the Trash. A search option in Fun Mail and My Advice would be a good feature, as sometimes I also need to look for an old advice of mine that relates to a new similar question.

Email notifications, what if we made them all fun mail?
So, Google Analytics has this fascinating new feature that shows you segments of how your site is performing, etc.
One of the new segments we created was email - in summary, we send thousands of emails per day, however, those don't seem to be doing...
much. So, one thought we had: what if you had a special section of your fun mail inbox with site notifications? New answers, group postings, when people rate your answers, etc.
This way, we wouldn't crowd your inbox, and it would make it easier in tandem to see exactly when somebody gives you an answer, etc, because the notification would appear, just like for fun mail messages it does now. What do you think? Worthwhile feature, or not?
