Elf ears, is surgery necessary?

I have the most abnormal ears ever and they look like an elfs with pointy edges.I really dont like how people think its funny sometimes when its not. Is it necessary to have surgery?

My boyfriend has elf ears- they are awesome and cute. Besides, you shouldn't get surgery for something like that, unless you are getting a lot of nasty comments.

I had fun made about this while I was in primary school but it was good natured fun and not malicious.

Hey at least they are prob the same. I have one ear that looks like my fathers and one that looks like my mums . Not pretty. lol

Lol, it isn't necessary for you to get anything done. If you want to for your own sake then go for it. Don't do it to make others happy. Also try growing your hair, it's a temp solution...

You don't neeed to do anything to change your ears. I have big ears and I am made fun of a lot, but I don't let it get to me. I have thought of plastic surgery but now that sounds silly. Just accept yourself for who you are and make other people accept you for who you are. If they can't, it's their loss.

Oh don't worry about it. Do people point it out? You can just try and ignore them but I do know how it feels. I have strange ears, they're not pointy jsut really small and kinda thick at the top..ughh they're horrible. People sometimes mention something about them but I don't really care. It's only if you feel really really uneasy about it that you should get surgery. Good luck.

Hunny don't worry about your ears. Surgery isn't necessary. I'n sure you are beautiful the way you are. God didn't put us on this planet to get surgery. :]

why would you want to change them?? I know people who have had surgery to get ears like yours... myn are just normal and really really boring... if I was you id show them off all the time... I think they are really really really cute and its something not everyone has so flaunt it!!! xx
