How do I put my hammer/whammy bar onto my electric guitar? I think I need some detailed instructions.

You have to place the threaded end into the hole that's situated just below the bridge and turn it clockwise so it screws in.

Yup like Rossco says..Threaded end in the hole and turn clockwise..
Or if its a Floyd Rose bridge you gotta place the end of the wammy on to the threaded socket on the bridge and twist that little nut on the end of the wammy so that it screws on..
