Effexor false positive

I took a pre-employment drug test and I take effexor for anxiety. I took a home drug test before the test because my research showed the possibility for Effexor to produce a false-positive for pcp. Just like I suspected it produced a false positive on...

the home drug test. So, what do I do if the test shows up a false positive? Will the lab know the difference between a false positive and a real positive for pcp? The test I took was taken by quest diagnostics and the type was 35105N SAP 5-50 W/ NIT.

All you have to do is bring your prescription with you to the drug test - they will ask you if you are on any prescription medication - you tell them yes - then you show them your prescription with your name on it - and they won't fail you for that.
