Does someone delete duplicate answers?

When you answer a question and get two answers for the same question, does the person who edits the site, go in and delete one of the answers?

I don't know, but they really should start letting us edit and/or delete our answers. Some of my answers are driving me crazy.

Generally I focus more on editing questions and duplicate questions, but if you point me toward the double-answer, I will delete one for you. There's been a bug in my advisor-view of viewing answers, so I can't page back. This makes it harder for me to see older answers.
