Is this eczema or just dry skin?

I dont know if I have eczema or not but most people saying I do.
my body started to itch this year and I have very dry skin.
if I put on lotion, will the itchiness stop?

It sounds like you have eczema. Go to your local drug store and get a skin cream. Try that if it doesnt work ask your doctor.

Before spending money on skin cream, go to a dermatologist and get the correct diagnosis. It could be eczema, allergies, etc.

go to a dermatologist but it the initial answer is exema, request an allergy test. I fought them for years over it. Finally found one willing to do the allergy test turned out to be just that, an allergy to preservatives found in more shampoos, lotions, etc than not. Better to really find out. The one I'm allergic to is Quaternium 15, which goes by hundreds of different names. So make sure you get to the rout of it. If not you may end up treating the symptom not the problem. Better to be safe than sorry.
