My advice is to just stand by your friend no matter what. I actually have a friend who is recovering from bulimia, and she said that she just needed people there to help her, not criticize her for her disorder. So just stay calm. as long as your friend is getting help she should be fine, if anything she just needs your support.
I've been through episodes of it, and honestly all you can do is be supportive and just let her get through it. Dont take it personally when she does harm to herself, it isn't about you, she's sick, and she can't help it... You're obviously a good friend, but you have to realize you're not there to cure her...
I was bulimic for 17 years and it ruined the best part of my life. The thing I hated though, was feeling that other people were shocked or talked about me behind my back. You are obviously a good friend, so if and when she feels like talking about it, listen to her without judging. The thing to remember is to help her to feel confident about the person she is and happy in her own skin - it is possible to get over it. I did.

Eating disorders, any advice?

My friend is bulimic. She is seeing a therapist and everything but I'm really worried. Has anybody ever gone through this and do you have any advice? Please help me.
