We're not going to encourage you not to eat - that's harmful behaviour.
If you're worried about your weight, just watch what you eat - make sure you're avoiding the fatty, greasy foods and focus on more fruits and vegetables.
If you don't feel hungry, then it's quite possible that you're not. Your body knows what it needs and if you can learn to read the signals it gives you, you'll notice that you can eat and still keep the extra weight off.
I dont know how you can claim you're not hungry but somehow managed to eat 3 plates of food.YOU ARE HUNGRY! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO EAT 3 TIMES A DAY! DONT LET THE MIRROR/SCALE TELL YOU WHEN TO EAT. the only reason you feel like your stomach is flatter is because your stomach has probably started to shrink as a result of you not eating. you cannot lose and keep off weight by not eating unless you plan on not eating forever and then you will die. just quit being lazy there is no easy way to lose weight.
I wouldn't be able to eat for days if I ate 3 platefuls of food either! Just eat normal small amounts regularly - pigging out one day then not eating for a few days will not work. And thats bull re being polite and eating what people give u - if it makes you feel bad just say no - people can't force you to eat heaps. just eat some vegies, fruit, bit of bread and bit of meat then put the knife and fork down, you are done!
no, I have to be polite and eat everything, it sounds silly I know, but I have to cause I've been brought up like that. plus yes I can be forced to eat, and I am :|
and my idea wasnt to not eat and then binge my idea was to not eat for as long as I could before I was REALLY hungry, and then eat a little portion and then not eat for as long as I could..
I don't get it though I'm actually never hungry :|
AND I shoved 3 plates of food down my throat and felt amazingly sick afterwards. after a few bites of the first plate of food I was full up :|
you do NOT have to be polite and eat everything that is put in front of you at all times. especially when you are using the reasoning "I was raised that way" when you get older you will end up realizing a lot of the things you were "forced" to do by your parents are just plain wrong. It is not rude to not eat everything offered to you, one could say it is even gluttonous to do so. if your family cant under stand you want to lose weight and dont support you eating healthy then that is their problem not yours.
Your plan of starving yourself til you HAVE to eat then eating something small is probably the worst idea ever(no offense) Looking good in the mirror is not worth your health or your life. and you're not hungry because you arent eating regularly. YOU WILL LOSE FAT FASTER IF YOU DIET AND EXERCISE PLUS YOU WILL LOOK AND FEEL GOOD IF YOU STARVE YOURSELF PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO TELL, GIRLS THAT STARVE THEMSELVES LOOK GROSS
Hi I think you may be getting 'healthy' mixed up - whilst your family probably eats 'healthy' food like vegies, meat, bread etc. it doesn't sound like you guys are eating 'healthy' amounts - that's what everyone is going on about here. It is not healthy to eat more than a smll plate ful of food at 1 sitting so while your family is serving you 'healthy' food they are making you be unhealthy by getting you to eat more than a healthy serve.
It actually is quite tricky to get at first - I had a friend that knew weetbix was healthy so ate 8 of them for brekky whereas only 1 or 2 was a healthy amount.




Eating..
right so.. for the past 3 days I've barely eaten anything.
its not like I was crash dieting or anything, I just wasn't hungry :|
yeh sure I'm usually paranoid about my weight and shi*.. but its made me feel lighter and more skinny?
not that im obese...
or anything but like I don't know.. my bestfriends like 'loose abit of weight before you get your belly button pierced' like wth?

So I'm like 5''6 and I weigh just under 9 stone. That's average, I know.. but I'd rather be 8 stone tbh.
So I'm considering like.. not eating?
my stomach feels flatter? not that it's like AMAZINGLY big but I have flab :l
yeh so.. I know I'd be better of 'eating healthy' and I'm at 'the right weight' and I just need to 'excerise' but not eating (apart from when I feel like it) would make me feel better without the effort?
Lately I've gone off food. When someone offers food to me I just say no.. but I honestly don't feel like eating anything :|
like today when I ate properly at my grandma's I shoved 3 plates of food down my mouth because it's just polite to eat everything given to you at someone elses house mm?
yeh so I don't know if I'm making the right descision here.. but I'm never hungry..
