Dynamic to basic harddrive

Deefor in the sun Asked by seasonal69magic 4 months ago, 1 answer.

I was just wondering if anyone could answer my questions.

1. Can you install xp on a dynamic hard drive?
2. I've been trying to convert 2nd harddrive to basic for along time, it is currently set as dynamic. I've gone under computer management and disk management, and right clicked the drive, where it says convert to basic, it is grayed out. I've tried deleting the volume then reformatting it, but nothing seems to help.

Any help is much appreciated!! Thanks :-)
