Dye the underneath of my hair?

I have medium to dark brown hair. I always see blonde girls with the underneath of their hair dyed brown but have really never seen brown hair with blonde underneath. I want to dye the underside blonde. Do you think that would look ok.

know how to do it? Its too expensive for me to go get it done. : /

If you want to do it you just put all the hair you *don't* want colored up in a clip so you don't get hair dye on it and leave the hair you *do* want dyed down. Then you just colour those pieces and be sure to keep all the other hair clipped up during the process.

You have to go and get it done.
Doing it at home can mess your hair up I guess.

A few girls I go to school with have their hair done like that.
It all depends actually. The one has platinum which isnt bad
But another one had hers turn out like a honey color and she hates it.
I'd go for it if its really what you wanted but try going for a natural blonde color

I think the blonde might look weird...but if you would like it then you should do it...how about another color like hot pink? If you like the blonde idea, what about doing thicker sections of hair blonde? I know it isnt like the people who have blone hair on top and dark on the bottom but it might still look good.
I do think that if you are going to do something that drastic you should get it done, only because if you do it yourself you could really mess it up...
if its too expensive, maybe find a place like a school for hairdressers, they usually charge a lot less and they are hairdressers who are towards the end of their training who are doing all of the hair coloring under the instruction of another stylist who is profressional. It's an idea at least.

It looks good. I've done it before, but it wasn't solid blonde at the bottom. It looks better with layers. I put purple black and blonde chunks on the bottom half and an almost black color on tope. It's different than what a lot of people do, but everyone liked it.

It'll just look like you're growing your roots out, which is what you see most of the time.

it would look terrible and trailor trashish. the reason the blonde is on top is because the sun naturally hits the top of your hair. which naturally makes it lighter. so its natural gone dramatic. but what you want, is awful. sorry!

NO it does not look right I think it looks crazy my friend had it done and we did not like it at all I would NOT recommend it.

so if you want to try it, it would be cheaper to get some clip-in hair extensions and see how they looks were you want them
